This means that you may see error messages fetching files such as _darcs/prefs/format, which you can safely ignore. Installing darcs 2 on the server will eliminate these error messages and also speed up ssh-based commands, such as darcs push. scp: /home/xrockai/dev/public/cabalised-morn/_darcs/format: No such file or directory scp: /home/xrockai/dev/public/cabalised-morn/_darcs/inventory: No such file or directory darcs failed: Not a repository: anna.fi.muni.cz:~/dev/public/cabalised-morn ((scp) failed to fetch: anna.fi.muni.cz:~/dev/public/cabalised- (The problem is that the warning here is ill-given.)
