   Sorry if this is not the right channel to go to.
  Previously the master.cfg has a list of steps that shows how to retrieve
relevant
  info (e.g. darcs version running and others etc) automatically based on
buildbot internal methods.

  Now, as I revisited the website, the info is broken.

  Wonder if anyone could redirect me or send me that file, so that I can
dissect and understand
  and perhaps help out with another buildslave?

Meanwhile, Petr: may I assign this to you to investigate?  A good first step
might be to publish the repo where the buildbot config lives (or why not just
push directly to code.haskell.org, where the old config lives?) so that we can
see what's changed in the history

We no longer automatically ask for ghc version or darcs version. The reasons
are twofold, for one this clutters the waterfall view, secondly, we are now
able to override the GHC to be used through cabal flags and this is used on
slaves with multiple GHC versions installed (all the "pheme" slaves).

What we do instead is that we collect this data in the info/host file in the
buildslave directory: clicking on the buildslave in the waterfall view handily
shows you all the info from that file. Good example is eg. this:

It's really rather old; not the version that Petr is using, but I hope
that's a start.

(I'm marking this resolved for now, but do feel free to re-open this
if we can help in any way)
