This breaks xdarcs.el, which expects to just be able to supply 'y' or 'n' as
answers to questions, without having to supply a newline as well.

Hi Robin, Just checking: this is a regression against which version, 2.2.x?
Adding our Haskeline-hacking-and-theory-formalising friend.

Yes, known-to-work version is 2.2.1 - the build log for the particular build I
used is here:

http://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/packages/darcs/2.2.1/5.fc12/data/logs/i686/build.log

which appears to show that it was built *without* haskeline (which at that time,
I think, was optional).

Thanks! Hi Judah, have a moment to investigate?
