I believe this is resolved in Darcs 2.4 (see issue1488). Please let us know if the latest release candidate (cabal update; cabal install darcs-beta) solves the problem for you. PS. Also, please shout if you've had any bug-tracker trouble lately, problems sending things to the tracker, "too many files open" errors, etc
