I did cabal install darcs-beta on mac osx 10.5 with ghc 6.12.3 installed. This darcs segfaults on any http get attempt. Transcripts attached. Attachments debug.txt

Was this with --packs or --nopacks? Could you try both and compare?

I no longer have ghc 6.12.3 installed, and the shelltestrunner repo's content is probably a bit different, but I could not reproduce this today using hackage's darcs-beta-2.7.98.1 or latest darcs, built with ghc 7.0.4, with --packs or --no-packs.
