Please allow anonymous bug reports via web.  When we have a problem with too
many anonymous bug reports, then we can consider requiring registration.  In the
meantime, we have a problem with too few bug reports, because people are not
inclined to spend *more* of their time registering after they have already
decided to spend some of their time helping us out by submitting a bug report.

If this is too difficult to implement, an alternative would be to
create a user guest with password guest, and make it very clear on the
main tracker page how to use that.

Anonymity is not necessary (although commendable to the extent it can be
achieved). Simple reply-to-this-email-if-you-made-the-report verification
after submitting a bug report is ok, for example. Having to set up an
account with the zillionth password and so on is too much of a hassle, on
the other hand. If submitting bugs by emailing to bugs@dacs.net works, 
the address should also be mentioned on the tracker page or/and on the 
darcs home page.

I believe I've just allowed this, but haven't tested it.  Unfortunately, it
means I had to give anonymous an email address.  I chose to use
darcs-users@darcs.net as anonymous's email address, which means discussion
of anonymous bugs will go to darcs-users.  I'm not sure if this is good or
bad, and I'm not really very comfortable with it either.

Certainly it would be a good idea to make it more obvious that the proper
way to submit a bug report without creating an account is by email.  It's
way better if we can remain in contact with bug reporters.  I'm not sure
what we'd do if inundated by anonymous bug reports indicating
unreproducible bugs.

On second thought, I've reversed this and instead added a note to report
bugs by email.  It's really much nicer if we have some way of contacting
bug reporters.  Let me know if you think this is enough.  I could also move
it elsewhere on the page if that is deemed desirable.
