I ended up, somehow, with an inconsistent repository in which the same file was
added twice (without one of the patches becoming a merger). Check doesn't notice
this, because applying an AddFile doesn't notice whether there was already a
file there before.  However, the patches can't be unpulled together without a
'Repair' in the middle, since the first unpull will remove the file, and the
second will try to remove it again, and fail because it isn't there.

Thanks for the bug report. Are you able to try again with a darcs 2.0 built from
the unstable repo? I think there's a good chance your issue may be fixed there. 

If we don't hear from you soon, this ticket may be resolved as "won't fix"
unless there is something more concrete to work with. Submitting test repos or a
test script that reproduces the issue would be ideal.

As mentioned to the reporter about a month ago, this issue from 2007-02 is now
"presumed-dead" since there is insufficient detail to move it forward.
