When using "darcs add" I sometime wish to see the list of new files that got
added, but don't want to see skipped boring or already added files every time.
It seems that there is no option for that currently.

Just to be clear, you mean you'd like a new level of verbosity, somewhere
between --quiet and --verbose? Or an add-specific sort of verbosity such as
--list-added-files or something?

--list-added-files for add would be ok. The problem is that --quiet doesn't show
anything and --verbose shows skipped files as well as added ones.

I know this isn't quite what you're asking for, but would it be enough to do
darcs whatsnew | grep a ?  The deficiency here is that it also shows you files
you have added previously and not yet recorded, but if this covers the need
adequately, I'd rather not throw in yet another flag.

whatsnew might work. I am actually not using darcs much atm, so feel
free to close for now. I'll scream if I need it again in the future.
