Not sure what the right solution is. One thing is to maybe moderate new submissions from the bugtracker (at least, as far as the mailing list is concerned). It would be nice if the web interface could tell the user that their submission has been received and will be moderated.

I'm not sure, but an interrim solution would be to disallow anonymous bug posting via the web interface. I haven't seen any bugtracker spam lately. Did you configure the bugtracker to disallow first-time posts via the web interface? If so, I guess we can mark this as resolved.

I'm not sure that we did that, but given we've seen no spam, I think it's safe to close this for now.
