Folks: The --repodir option is documented as "--repodir=DIRECTORY specify the repository directory in which to run". But the way it behaves is more like "the directory in which to run, if that directory is a repository, else recursively search parent directories until you find a repository or else reach the root in which case there is no repository". --Z
