Example: 20080212220213 is the date/time stamp shown by darcs annotate. This is
also the first part of the patch's hash. I couldn't find a way to match on this,
eg this finds nothing:
darcs changes --match 'hash ".*20080212220213.*"'

On re-reading the manual I see this isn't a regular expression or substring
matcher. I found this surprising, so I'm sending a note for the docs.
