I have tailorized a quite large repository. http://ewi546.ewi.utwente.nl/OE/ other_scms/darcs/org.openembedded.dev. After 6 hours of tailoring I tried to darcs pull the patches. darcs fails with the above note when trying to apply 608 patches. We are currently exploring possibilities switching away from monotone and 608 patches is not even a week of commits. This bug is a killer argument against using darcs for OpenEmbedded. Anyway I just wanted to let you know about this bug. Used system: g4, 1gb ram, fink Th Glorious Glasgow Haskell Compilation System, version 6.4.1 darcs 1.0.5 (release)

Note that you can work around this bug by using darcs get rather than darcs pull. David.

Would this issue by improved by the conflictor code updates? It's not clear to me how to construct a test for it.

I don't believe this problem is actually fixed, but it might be. If so, I think it'd just be by a generic cleanup. The pull_many_files.pl test is supposed to test for bugs like this, so you might look at that for inspiration in constructing a test.

David reported in a dupe bug report that this should be "resolved in unstable" now.
