The darcs --extended-usage command is shorter than darcs --help, and seems to contain now information that's not in --help. It's maintained as a separate hand-written string in Darcs.Commands (instead of being auto-generated from docstrings in Darcs.Commands.*) so it's bound to fall out of date. Can the --extended-usage switch and extended_usage value simply be removed?

Trent, See also http://bugs.darcs.net/issue712 I think you could submit a patch doing this to see what David thinks. I doubt anybody actually uses it. The information could go somewhere else, maybe a getting started part of the doc.
