Issue	Issue711 whatsnew -ls is very slow (note the --look-for-adds)

If there are lots of added files, than this issue could be the same as 
http://bugs.darcs.net/issue79

"whatsnew -ls loads complete contents of added files into memory"

That bug, while important, is not a regression, although perhaps the performance
of how the bug exposes itself might be.
