I installed laconica and the site comes up fine after modifying the database 
connection string.  When I go to register as a new user and save the site says 
the database is not responding correctly although the record now exists in the 
database.  After this I check to see if I can log in with the username and 
password and the site tells me the username or password are incorrect along 
with noices about "trying to get property of non-object"

Did I miss some critical element in the set up or a dll?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I was just hoping someone might have some insight, I know this is not the 
official laconica website, but you guys have quick responses.
