Can somone use a different repo in e.g. tests/network/get.sh, so that
the same amount of testing is done, but a lot faster?

I've also noticed that it's slow (moreover I don't get the see each
individual test complete... maybe a slight shell harness bug?).

But then an interesting point is that it's going darcs get --lazy,
which seems fairly fast when I run it on the command line.

I guess we could freeze a copy of xmonad and just use that.  We'd better getting
the same network test each time.

The GettingStarted wiki page also needs a small, network-accessible
repository.  I suggest we make a repo specifically for this at
darcs.net/example or so, and populate it with patches that are clearly
stubs, rather than using a real-world repository.  It would only have
half a dozen patches and working files in it, so getting it would be
very fast.

Good idea.  Let's fix the new issue1553 first then.
