Some ideas to help bug reporting (1-4 may also help for feature requests): 1. What darcs version are you using? (Try: darcs --exact-version) darcs 2.5.2 (release) 2. What operating system are you running? OS X 10.6.8 3. What were you doing? (eg. what darcs commands) darcs record --edit-long-comment 4. What behaviour were you expecting? I expected trailing newlines in the long patch comment to be removed when recording or amending a patch. 5. What went wrong? The trailing newlines were retained as part of the long comment.
