This is a feature I am missing every now and then. It would give us an equivalent of 'git clean', i.e. darcs revert --look-for-adds would ask you to remove files that aren't tracked. Should also support --boring to get a "really clean" repo.
+1 - I generally do record --look-for-adds followed by obliterate, but it's a hack.
