Sorry, deferring was a mistake. Setting status need-info instead, asking for a 
discussion of whether we should work towards supporting this feature.

I don't think we should make any more major extensions to our printer engine. 
First we should focus on getting rid of it, in favour of a generic one.  So I
think this bug is waiting for issue1598 (and may influence it).
