Dear Darcs folk
Here's a new darcs2 bug, alas. I have no clue how to fix this.
I'm trying to get a whole new repo.
Simon
== running darcs pull -av --repodir libraries/base
Identifying repository http://darcs.haskell.org/packages/base inventory
Reading inventory of repository c:/simonpj/darcs/HEAD/libraries/base inventory
Pulling from "http://darcs.haskell.org/packages/base"...
darcs2.exe: failed to read patch in get_extra:

* Don't define __hscore_s_issock on Windows

* Don't define __hscore_s_issock on Windows
Couldn't parse file http://darcs.haskell.org/packages/base/_darcs/patches/20080904202845-3fd76-10ad5123c439c488e6d6db859a2d0819d8b1ed0a.gz
Perhaps this is a 'partial' repository?
darcs failed: 256 at ./darcs-all line 67.
sh-2.04$ darcs2 --version
2.0.1rc2 (2.0.1rc2 (+ -1 patch))
sh-2.04$

It certainly happened twice in a row.
But I've now updated to version "2.02 + 76 patches" and it didn't happen. So let's provisionally assume that it was a 2.0.1rc2 problem.

| Is this repeatable? It's the sort of thing that I can imagine could
| happen if darcs fails to download a file from darcs.haskell.org.
