Possibly caused by lack of case sensitivity on Windows XP SP2

Ouch.  Looks like something to extend the test suite with.

Could you send us the sequence of actions that led to this?
Looking at the pending buggy, one guess might be something like

create file map3D.m (big D)
darcs add map3D.m (big D)
# nah, come to think of it, i don't need it
rm map3d.m (small d)
darcs record

Also, is there any chance you could make your repository public so that we can
poke around?

I think the sequence was:

create file map3d.m
sarcs add map3d.m
Mv map3d.m map3D.m

I'm sorry, I am unable to make the repository public

I believe this is "resolved in unstable" now when using the --darcs-2 format,
because it stores the pristine copy in a different format.
