Hi Brett,

That's a rather old version of darcs (and a release candidate, no less).  Could
you see if you can reproduce this with darcs 2.0.0?  I'm marking this as
resolved in the meantime.

Hi Brett,  May I ping you on this?  Does Darcs 2 do any better?  Note that you
can now just 'cabal install darcs' to upgrade.

I think it must be as I have been adding this and other items like this
(essentially scanned documents as PDF files) and never had a complaint.

I've done this with 2.02 on and windows/cygwin machine, 2.3 on my Mac and
2.? on linux (Ubuntu)

Good to hear, Brett, thanks! I'm going to mark this as resolved, then.  Pending
patch bugs have certainly been fixed since 1.0.9 so I would not be surprised if
whatever was biting you got swept away with it.
