If I understand correctly, this patch copies the chosen darcs into a
temp directory before testing against it. What difference does that
make? I thought you could already run against an arbitrary darcs, but
I'm quite likely missing something!
I think it will also go a bit wrong on windows because it doesn't use
the .exe suffix.
patch508 might provide more context. The example use case here is for the
hypothetical darcs issue manager who has a "darcs-2.5" and a "darcs-2.7.2"
executable on her machine, ie. not actually called "darcs"

Do I understand correctly that…
- we might want something like this patch so that people can test against
darcs executables that aren't named darcs (eg. darcs-2.5)
- it should be updated to `<.> "exe"` on Windows
